Participants learn to identify real risks versus imaginary problems, understand how medications affect training response, and make intelligent decisions about exercise prescription. No fear-mongering about "dangerous exercises" - just practical risk-benefit analysis. Learn to catch the red flags, understand medical complexity, and get people training safely without unnecessary restrictions. Learning Outcomes Conduct structured health screening that informs programming Identify true red flags versus normal age-related changes Understand how common medications affect training response and recovery Apply MEV/MAV/MRV concepts to special medical populations Adapt training intelligently for injuries and post-surgical clients Make risk-benefit decisions about exercise selection Build referral networks while keeping clients training This module covers medical screening and risk stratification on intake. Learn what contraindications to look out for and how you can have nearly everyone exercise within their own limitations.We reject both reckless training and paranoid overprotection, instead finding a middle ground where progress can take place.
