Workshop Duration: 6 Hours CPD Points: 6 (pending) Prerequisites: Module 11 (Lifestyle & Behaviour) recommended; must understand PT scope of practice. This module destroys nutrition myths with scientific evidence, teaching trainers to educate clients on energy balance, macronutrients, and flexible dieting within their scope of practice. Learn why no food is inherently "bad," why clean eating often fails, and how to help clients build sustainable nutrition habits without becoming a dietitian. Based heavily on research from Layne Norton, Alan Aragon, and Eric Helms. The nutrition industry is worth billions selling confusion - keto, carnivore, detoxes, superfoods, and "one weird trick" solutions. Don’t get us started on influencers! Meanwhile, the basics that actually work (energy balance, protein targets, adherence) are dismissed as "too simple." This workshop teaches trainers to cut through the BS with science.
